Connecting with Customers at LeadsCon
Guest blog author Krystal Dupar is a senior account manager with All Star.
Las Vegas is home to one of All Star’s largest conferences of the year, LeadsCon. With over 1,700 attendees, LeadsCon provides the opportunity for all sectors of the lead generation industry to connect and discuss direct response marketing and vertical media. Sixteen All Stars made the trip to the desert this month to meet with our customers, partners and friends in the education lead gen industry.
For the second year in a row, All Star provided a meeting space/oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Meeting room Bermuda B at the Mirage became an inviting place to grab a cup of coffee or lunch before your next meeting. The All Star meeting room had several tables and often multiple meetings going on at once. Soft seating by the patio provided a cozy place to watch our new All Star video. We value our face to face time and hope our meeting room created a relaxed and quiet environment while showcasing All Star’s footprint in the lead gen space.
Tuesday evening we hosted our second annual cocktail party. A hosted bar, appetizers and prize giveaways (including an iPad mini!) were icing on the cake to an already wonderful gathering of people. One of our agency partners, Hotchalk, and one school partner, Bridgepoint, were among the lucky winners. Senior sales manager and party planner Carissa Jamerson was excited about the event, saying, “It was great to spend the extra time with our customers and that so many of them wanted to spend time with us.”
Over 25 meetings were held in just two days. Discussing everything from education lead gen to All Star’s future road map, all meetings were a great opportunity to listen to our customers and partners and continue forward with a strong partnership.
As a high-quality lead provider, search traffic, strong performance and compliance are among our areas of strength. It was great to hear again and again that All Star is a preferred partner for our customers. Since our focus over the next year is on listening to our customer’s needs and positioning our relationship as one of a partnership, it was refreshing to hear that we are already perceived in this way.
Exciting things are happening at All Star and the team was eager to share our news in meetings. As an independent, employee-owned company that’s hiring and growing, we are continuing our focus solely on education. Hearing from our customers on how we can continue to improve proved to be valuable and insightful. Reviewing our feedback from each meeting we are looking to improve the experience on our sites for our schools and students. LeadsCon proved yet again to be a wonderful opportunity to connect with our customers and share our passion for education.
